4 Face Masks That'll Cure Dry Skin

Alright everyone, we all experience dryness at one point or another, especially during the wintertime, so this post is an absolute must-read for us all.  I'm excited to tell you guys how I deal with the issue on the weekly.  The following products are a godsend for me - they definitely don't come cheap, but they transform my skin for the better.  So, without further ado, let's get to it!
1.  AmorePacific Moisture Bound Sleeping Recovery Mask ($60): I've featured this product on here several times already because it's, hands down, the most amazing sleeping mask I've ever used.  It locks in moisture and hydrates your skin while you rest.  Apply a thin coat - think dime size - over your moisturizer and let it work its magic.  Formulated with 5-Hydra Complex (a potent blend of Asian botanicals), this product is lightweight and luxe.  I use it about 1-2x a week to replenish my skin when it feels extra dry.

2.  Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment ($22 for 15ML, $69 for 50ML): Like the AmorePacific product mentioned previously, this hydrating treatment can be used as a overnight mask.  I like to use it when my skin feels mildly dry because it isn't as intensive as the one above. Use it post-shower before your moisturizer for best results!  If your skin still feels dry afterwards, slather your favorite cream on top.  FYI: this product has a strong tropical smell so if you're a fan of unscented skincare, pass on this.

3.  When Sheet Masks ($7 each): When's Travelmate sheet mask is the bees knees for real.  This product is the ultimate splurge.  Yes, it's steep at $7 a pop, but it'll do miracles for your skin.  If you're looking to treat yourself with an at-home spa night, this will seriously MAKE your experience. I use this anytime I need to look especially on point (ie. concert or photo shoot the next day).  Leave it on for 30 minutes or so and get your relaxation on.  You'll notice a difference immediately!

4.  yes to coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask ($11.19):  If you have sensitive skin, this gentle product is the PERFECT solution for your dryness.  It's fairly light so it won't cure everything overnight so be patient and apply it 1-3x a week.  Also, it doesn't feel like a "typical" mask - its creamy texture goes on more like lotion!  Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and remove it all gently with a washcloth.

Have you guys used any of these products before? If yes, what did you think? How do you guys deal with dry skin in the wintertime? Are there any must-have products you recommend?  FYI, for more info regarding my regimen, check out "My Daily Skincare Routine."

  2. I've tried Glamglow before and it isn't too bad. I'd be interested in trying AmorePacific but they get pricey for me.
