October 2015 - Sensible Stylista

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 7

I'm all about casual cool today on Sensible Stylista. For part 7 of my style challenge - if you're just tuning in, make sure you read part 1 HERE to check out rules and such - I decided to get my layer on. I started with my Sincerely Jules graphic tee and tucked it into my fave pair of high-waisted skinnies - (if you're wondering, they're from Aero).  I threw on a classic button-front and topped it off with my Ann Taylor moto jacket to battle the fall chill.  To finish off the look, I carried my Coach crossbody and wore stylish yet comfortable ankle boots.

This is pretty much how I dress for a lazy day!  No sweats for me, I've upgraded, ha...unless I'm at home stuffing my face with chinese delivery watching netflix.  That's the exception though.  Trust me, high-waisted jeans (or bottoms for that matter) are the way to go.  They're super flattering because they cover muffin top and elongate your legs.  Visual illusions are def. awesome.  My bod's not in great shape, but I know how to dress for it!  To be honest, I'm totally self-conscious of my body.  I'm not trying to fish for compliments or anything.  In fact, I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm insecure, but hey, it's the truth and you know how I like to always keep it real.  I sit on my butt all day long because I'm either practicing, blogging or studying, and it's showing.  I need to get it together.  If any of you are looking to get in shape, let me know!  It'd be great to be virtual workout buddies.
Anywho, sorry I got so off topic, ha.  If you're looking to shop my look, here's a widget for your viewing pleasure.  OH, and don't forget to enter my international giveaway with Define Me Scent HERE to win 5 roll-on scents worth $180!

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 6

For part 6 of my style challenge (rules can be viewed here), I put together an office-friendly look for you guys since it's Workwear Wednesday and all.  To start, I paired my classic Polo button-front with my Talbots pencil skirt.  I could've worn my Theory blazer on top, but I went with my faux-leather moto jacket instead for some edge.  I feel like leather (or high-quality pleather) always adds a bit of badassity.  Moving on, my ankle-strap heels are a step up from simple, black pumps because of their mesh detailing. Even if you can't mess around with work basics, you can still keep things fun with accessories - at least that's how I turn up while maintaining a polished, professional vibe.
Here's a close-up shot of my necklace.  I absolutely love this piece.  I got it from InPink ages ago, and I'm still a huge fan.  Unfortunately, it's no longer available online, but I'll make sure to link something similar for you guys below. I really enjoy wearing chokers underneath collars because they look built-in.

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 5

For my latest, I styled a very classic look for you guys.  I've been into polished ensembles as of late. I kept things simple today with a button-front and blazer - a foolproof combo that slays in any situation.  In my opinion, every girl needs a solid button-front - it's a wardrobe must-have.  If you're looking, I recommend checking out Polo or Brooks Brothers.  Their factory outlets carry wonderful options that are both chic and affordable.  TIP: make sure you guys subscribe to their email/mailing list beforehand to get the most bang for your buck!  They send coupons out all the time so take advantage.
I accessorized with my Coach crossbody - you guys are going to see this piece a ton because it's currently my favorite bag.  Animal print is always a do in my book, but too much can be tacky so be careful.  I personally like to incorporate pops of it with bags or shoes - that's just me though!  On another note, if you're looking for more animal print inspo, clicky HERE.  I may or may not spend way too much time pinning, ha.  I spend a good hour pinning at night.  I plan to sleep at 1, but end up pinning until 2.  Hashtag blogger problems, ha!  Anywho, I'll leave it at that and let you guys browse. I like to think that I have pretty good taste, but then again I'm biased.  Oh, and just in case you guys want to shop today's look:

Top Five Moisturizing Lip Products

1.  Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil ($42) - Although pricy, this product - made of cutting-edge actives, botanicals, and skin-rejuvenating vitamins - is liquid gold.  It conditions and shields against environmental elements, while strengthening the moisture barrier and boosting skin smoothness.  As a plus, the item's dispensed via an antibacterial, 24 karet tip for an extra soothing effect.

2.  C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve ($5.50) - If you have dry lips, this product's a must-have.  It's emulsified with rose extract, which conditions and helps ease irritation.  It gives you a light pink tint and happens to smell like heaven.  Apply a thin layer at night to keep your pucker moisturized.  Heads up, there's one "con," you have to use your finger for application, which sucks for a germaphobe like myself.  I recommend washing your hands before use.

3.  Vapour Organic Lip Balm ($20) - For those of you looking for a solid non-glossy lip balm, this product is the bees knees.  It has an antioxidant and botanical-rich formula that delivers moisture against dryness and chapping.  The jojoba oil boots hydration while other ingredients reduce inflammation.  Ideal for both guys and gals looking for a luxe chapstick.

4.  Bite Agave Lip Mask ($26) - A luxurious leave-on lip mask that moisturizes with a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and trans-resveratrol.  The consistency's nice and thick, and the packaging's really cute.  I love the tube it comes in!

5.  Burt's Bees Lip Crayons ($8.99) - Available in six creamy colors, these amazing crayons are the BEST tinted lip products you'll ever buy.  You don't get ANY flaking because this item moisturizes while giving you a matte finish.  I definitely prefer these crayons to lipsticks! If you have dry lips but want to give 'em a little color, make sure you try these out ASAP.  Carolina Coast and Sedona Sands are my two favorite shades!

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 4

It's time for part 4 of my style challenge.  If you missed my other posts, no worries.  Clicky HERE for part 1, HERE for part 2, and HERE for part 3.  Anywho, I've noticed over the course of the week that I apparently have a thing for scarves.  Yeah, that sounds about right.  I styled today's basics (faux-leather jacket, black turtleneck, and high-waisted jeans) with a chic but affordable version to spice things up.  For those of you wondering, my scarf's from Charlotte Russe.  They carry a ton of cute designs in-store and online - if you're looking to make a statement on the cheap, I recommend hitting up your local CR stat.  Scarves make incredible accessories so I suggest purchasing a slew of 'em in different colors and prints.  I personally own 20+!  Moving onto, I threw on Valentino-inspired heels (similar ones available HERE for $35.99) to match and carried my YSL crossbody for extra oomph.

Also, here are some fabulous yet sensible scarves for your browsing pleasure! You're welcome in advance, ha.

Sensible Stylista x SnobSwap

I'm beyond excited to invite you guys to an event I'm hosting with SnobSwap in November.  For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, they're the only destination to shop Chanel, Celine, Louis Vuitton, and Hermes (to name a few) from the best consignment boutiques in the country.  They're legit.  Like seriously legit.  Like featured in R29Instyle's Best of the WebWashington PostWashingtonian, and BuzzFeed legit, ha.
So, DMV friends, make sure you guys come to their incredible event, "The Best of SnobSwap DC," on November 5th to party it up with me - I'll be styling looks and mingling like it's nobody's business.  Plus, there will be pop-ups of the best consignment stores in DC, innovative local chefs serving cocktails and apps, beauty bags from Blue Mercury and more.  It really doesn't get much better than that!  Early bird tickets can be purchased HERE for $20. Make sure you guys pick them up now rather than later because they'll be $30 at the door.  A portion of ticket sales will go to Operation Turbo (read about their organization here) so you can feel good about having a fab time!

Now that I got those deets out of the way.  Let's talk FASHION!  I want to share some of my favorite SnobSwap picks with you guys.

Le sigh.  I may or may not have a thing for bags.  I've literally been drooling over these for...most of my life, ha! Now I can cop them for a fraction of the price - yay for bargain deals.  Anywho, let me break down SS for you guys, and by "SS" I mean SnobSwap not Sensible Stylista, ha. Here's how it works: you can buy an item instantly at its listed price or make an offer to bargain for the best deal.  If your offer is accepted, you're required to check out in 48 hours. You pay with credit card online - all your transactions are protected with SnobSwap's Buyer Protection, and after your purchase, SS will send you a tracking number.  Also, SS has generously offered to give Sensible Stylista readers an extra discount with code SENSIBLESTYLISTAXSNOBSWAP.  Enter it at checkout to get an additional 20% (up to $100) on your purchase - valid on boutique purchases!  Oh, and on another note, if you're interested, you can SELL your designer items as well.  Clicky HERE for more info...

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 3

I'm all about casual cool today on Sensible Stylista.  In case you're just tuning in, I'm currently tackling a fun style challenge on the blog.  I'm sure you can tell by the title, but this is (very obviously) look 3 of 8.  I've limited myself to 8 pieces of clothing, and they're all listed HERE for your viewing convenience. Although I'm not allowed to wear anything else, I'm letting myself accessorize with whatever's in my closet (bags, shoes, jewelry, etc.).

For today's OOTD, I started with my graphic tee & cardi - that combo should look familiar because I wore it HERE for part 1.  However, instead of wearing jeans, I paired the set with my Talbots pencil skirt for a polished yet trendy vibe.  I belted it with a skinny belt - I'm not into wide designs lately - to highlight the small of my waist, drawing the eye upwards and creating the illusion of longer legs. Like before (in part 1), I kept things simple on the jewelry front.  In my opinion, this top's too "loud" for statement jewelry.  To finish off my look, I threw on my current fave heels (available here for $27 at Castro) and grabbed a chic, oversized tote to carry my life, ha.
In case you guys want to shop my look!

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 2

Yay! It's time for part 2 of my 8-piece style challenge.  Ha, I sound like I'm ordering chicken or something.  For those of you just tuning in, make sure you click here to read all about it.  Anywho, for today's OOTD, I started with the following basics: a classic button front, high-waisted jeans, and a faux-leather moto jacket.  I tied my shirt to create a longer line, visually elongating my legs.  As I'm sure you guys know, I'm all about illusions.  My body definitely needs work - I've gained quite a bit of weight - but luckily, I know how to hide it well...or so I'd like to think, ha.

Moving on, I added color by throwing on a fun, printed scarf.  I scored this adorable piece at Soft Surroundings' grand opening at Fairfax Corner a while back.  I took advantage of the color palette and carried my magenta Givenchy Antigona to match.

College Fashion Week

Soooo yesterday was officially crazy.  My schedule has been insane as of late!  I woke up at 6, practiced piano from 7-9:30 (which was NOT enough time BTW, ugh), taught piano from 9:30-4, and then drove to DC to cover Her Campus Blogger's College Fashion Week.  I ended up getting home at like 11, which is fine, but I had to stay up until 2 because (of course) I had more work to do.  Life's been mad hectic, but I'm kind of okay with that.  In fact, I secretly love being hella busy. What can I say, being productive makes me happy!

ANYWHO, let's talk a bit about the event!  The show took place at W Hotel in DC and was sponsored by awesome brands like European Wax Center, Milani, Monthly Gift, and more!  They created a really cute runway around VIP/press seats.  I got to sit in the front row so I had a great view of all the clothing (provided by Neiman Marcus, Forever 21, Macy's, and more).  As a plus, they had fab swag bags with lots of goodies laid out for us!
Let's take a look at my fave sponsor's booth! Isn't their setup cute?  European Wax Center was founded a decade ago on the belief that all of us deserve gorgeous skin by not concealing who we are, but by having the courage and confidence to reveal our natural, beautiful skin. They invented the "4 Steps to Gorgeous" process to ensure the most comfortable experience possible - their exclusive waxing techniques prep skin before AND after.  As a bonus, all first-time guests get a complimentary wax (!!!!)
Here are shots of the EWC ladies hard at work, beautifying everyone!
I got my brows filled in, too!  My technician was super sweet, helpful, and gorgeous.  She used EWC's Brow Powder and Shape It on me to create a polished look.  If you have light or sparse eyebrows, their brow powder will do wonders.  They're available in 3 duo shades, and you can apply it dry for a natural look or wet for a dramatic finish.  I personally prefer the former, but that's just me! Shape It is a total must-have because it'll keep your unruly brows at bay with one sweep.  This styling essential is alcohol and paraben free and nourishes with aloe leaf extract.  Use it whenever you want to add a bit of oomph.
In case you're wondering, my mom took this shot of me, haha.  I'm so lucky to have her - she's my best friend AND role model.  Doesn't she look absolutely fabulous?  I keep telling her that she needs to start her own blog!  Maybe she'll take my advice to heart one day, ha.
Before the show started, the gorgeous Allie Gonino (Laurel from The Lying Game) opened with an original set.  She had a beautiful voice! I was really impressed with her music!
Unfortunately, I didn't get any good shots of the models walking.  Sorry, I'm still learning how to use my DSLR, ha.  It's definitely not easy - there are so many options, and I'm not good with artificial lighting.  I took this shot at the very end when the models came on stage!  I loved that they used "real girls" - recruited from local colleges - for the show.  They looked like they were having a blast!  Also, if you're wondering, the co-host pictured below is Windsor Western, the President of HCB.  She co-founded Her Campus with Stephanie Kaplan Lewis and Annie Wang!
I hope you guys enjoyed today's latest!  A special thanks to European Wax Center and Her Campus Media for sponsoring this post.

8 Pieces, 8 Ways: Part 1

Alright everyone, I'm extra excited for today's post because I'm taking on a fun style challenge.  I've decided to limit myself to 8 pieces for the next 8 posts.  I feature a lot of new stuff on SS all the time, so I thought I'd do something different because the last thing I want is for y'all to think that you need a ginormous closet to look good...because you don't.  Seriously.  Don't believe me?  I'll prove it! Let's start by taking a look at my clothing picks:

1.  My Ann Taylor Turtleneck (similar)
2.  My Talbots Pencil Skirt
3.  My Aeropostale high-waisted jeans (similar)
5.  My Polo Button-Front (similar)
6.  My Ann Taylor Faux-leather Moto Jacket (Similar)
7.  My Theory Blazer (similar)
8.  My Our World Boutique Animal Print Cardigan (similar)

So here's how it's going to work.  I'm going to create everyday outfits with the aforementioned pieces. I won't be able to wear any other articles of clothing, but I'll be accessorizing with shoes, bags, jewelry, etc. of my choice!  Without further ado, here's look no. 1...
I paired my graphic tee with my fave animal print cardi.  The combo works really well in my opinion because it's simple yet stylish.  I skipped jewelry all together for today's OOTD because my shirt's kind of bold - I'm not sure if that's the right word to use, but the text's large and eye-catching. Hopefully you know what I mean, ha.  I did, however, "accessorize" with my YSL crossbody bag. The chain & tassel add just the right amount of bling.  To finish off the look, I capitalized on the casual factor by throwing on sneaker slip-on heels.  I've had these Cole Haan shoes FOREVER, and I wear them all the time.  They're super comfy and add a trendy vibe to my ensembles.

Stay tuned for my next look! I'll be sharing it on Wednesday. I promise it'll be work-friendly, ha! What do you guys think of my style challenge? Would you be willing to participate? Oh, and before I leave you, I just want to remind you guys that I'm hosting two fabulous giveaways on SS right now. Clicky here to enter them both.

Sensible Stylista x INC: Part 3

Alright guys, I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone today by sharing part 3 of my INC collab (click here for part 1 and here for part 2) - a post that just so happens to be work-friendly, ha!  Since I'm a piano teacher by day, I can pretty much wear whatever I want to work, but I try to keep it professional just because.  I don't teach in jeans, but everything else is game in my book.  Where do you guys work? Does your job require you to dress up?

Anywho, for today's look, I centered my outfit around my new top courtesy of INC via Macy's. Unfortunately, I don't have a link for you guys, but they have a ton of other cute stuff available HERE so get your browse on stat!  Personally, I've always been a huge fan of INC.  What do you guys think of their line? I think their clothing's chic and just the right amount of trendy.
Here's a full body shot for you guys!  Oh how I love my Rock & Republic skinnies.  I've had these for 4 years+, but I still love 'em. People tease me and say I look like Speed Racer, but I could care less!  I love the stripes on the side.  For those of you wondering, I picked them up at Kohl's back in the day - they were hanging on a clearance rack.  I obviously don't have a link for you guys - I mean, I bought them 4 years ago, ha - but I found a similar pair for y'all here.

All Eyes on You

YAY! It's time for another remix.  I've re-featured my drapey parka for you guys today on SS.  I'm sure you've figured this out already, but I'm completely and utterly obsessed with this jacket. I mean, I've already featured it twice - if you missed my previous posts and want to see them, clicky HERE and HERE - and I have no doubt it'll make more appearances in the future.  Lucky for you guys, this piece is currently on sale HERE for $34.  I really can't recommend it enough.  It's super chic, and the quality's legit.  It could seriously pass for a designer item.  I know you may be skeptical because it's from Aero, but trust me when I say they've really stepped up their game. Obviously, not all of their items are home runs, but they carry quite a few items that are on point. Also, I've mentioned this before, but I'm a huge fan of their Bethany Mota & Tokyo Darling lines. What do you guys think of Aero?  Have you shopped their recently?
Moving on, as you can see I kept things simple for today's OOTD.  In my opinion, there's nothing sexier than a crisp button-front.  I purchased this top at Polo a few months ago - it was on sale at the outlet mall for $20.  I absolutely love bargain shopping! I can't wait to hit up Prime Outlets during holiday blowout sales because that's when I stock up on clothing.
TIP:  To visually elongate your legs, throw on high-waisted bottoms.  They'll do wonders for your bod! They draw the eye up, creating a longer line - I recommend wearing them with high heels (preferably nude) for max effect!  Your waist will look tiny, and your stems will look hella lean. Also, if you're self conscious of back fat or muffin top, these babies will ease your woes.  Since I don't have a link for you guys, here are some other amazing options for your browsing pleasure:
One last shot for you guys!  Here's a close-up pic of my new necklace courtesy of Sparkles & Pop. I've been such a huge fan of chokers as of late.  Is anyone else a fan?

Sensible Stylista x INC: Part 2

Yay - it's time for part 2 of my INC collab.  No worries if you missed part 1, just clicky HERE. Anywho for today's post, I styled my look around my new faux-fur vest courtesy of INC.  This stunning number is currently on sale here for $143.99 - it was originally $189.50.  In addition to the aforementioned price cut, you get an extra 20% off with code FALL.  Your total will be around $114 + tax.  I know that sounds steep, but honestly, I highly doubt you'll find a quality version like this that's more affordable.  Faux-fur's not cheap!
Because my vest has bits of brown, black, and gray, I stuck with neutral tones for a chic look - I threw on skinny jeans, pumps, and a necklace to match. IMO, faux-fur's quite "loud."  Therefore, I like to keep everything else simple when sporting a piece like this.

Skinnies:  Theory (similar) || Tee:  c/o Plum Society || Necklace:  Sparkles & Pop || Vest:  c/o INC || Shoes:  Deb (similar)
My top's from Plum Society (a fabulous new store that caters to petites).  I absolutely love this shirt! It's seriously my current favorite tee. Although it's on the expensive side ($68), it's worth every penny.  I really can't recommend it enough.  To sweeten the pot, if you sign up for their email list, you can get an extra 20% off your purchase.  Don't walk, RUN...or click really fast, ha!  This flowy top is flattering AND comfortable - it's a true classic you can wear all season long! Also, FYI I'm hosting a giveaway with them soon so make sure you keep your eyes peeled.

The Utility Jacket

I know today's workwear wednesday, but I broke tradition and styled a casual fall look for you guys. I hope that's ok - things have been a little cray, and I totally forgot to shoot an office-friendly ensemble.  To be honest, I haven't been feeling great lately.  My life is ridiculous right now, and the stress is getting to me.  I think I just have too much on my plate.  This is year 5 of my doctorate, and I still have a ways to go.  Sometimes I wish I could hit pause.  If I could spend a year focusing on JUST my studies, I know I could knock my doctoral requirements out, but that's obviously out of the question.  Sorry to get all negative nancy on you guys - I promise to return to my perky self soon!

Anywho, let's talk fashion. I've always been a huge fan of the military trend, but camo's not really my style.  I'm all about utility jackets - I may or may not own 4 different versions, ha. This chic version is from Left on Houston - if you're interested you can purchase it here for $139.12 (originally $252.95). I know it's steep, but it's seriously worth every penny.  LOH is legit - their quality is as good as any designer brand you'll find at Neiman Marcus.  If this is out of your price range, don't fret.  I'll share more affordable versions with you guys below!
Jeans:  Bongo || Boots:  Shoetopia ($36.99) || Top:  c/o Velvet Heart || Jacket:  Left on Houston

As promised, here are affordable jacket options for you guys (all under $75):
Moving on, I wore my new button-front c/o Velvet Heart underneath (available here for $88).  This top has roll sleeves and a split-tail back, and it's made of tencel so it's extra soft.  As an additional plus, you can wear this with leggings because it covers your butt!  I've been endorsing VH for years now because they're one of my favorite brands.  If you like James Perse and/or Vince, you'll adore LOH - talk about style with ease!

Sensible Stylista x INC: Part 1

For those of you following my instagram, you've already seen this look, but I thought I'd re-share because I skipped deets on the aforementioned pic.  A while back, I partnered up with Macy's to celebrate INC's 30th anniversary.  I styled three looks for them, but I'm only writing about one today!  I'll post about the rest in the near future though so make sure you check back.

For today's post, I centered my outfit around my suede fringe top c/o INC via Macy's. Lucky for you guys, it's currently on sale here for $69.99 - it was originally $89.50 in case you were wondering.  Also, it's available in camel as well.  I recommend going with the black though!  I tried wearing the camel, and I ended up looking like Pocahontas, ha.  With that said, this fabulous top is a must-have because it ups your texture game, plus, faux-suede's always a do!
I styled my top with a faux-leather mini and threw on a draped blazer to finish off the look.  I accessorized with a long pendant necklace and Chanel boy.  If you look closely, you can see that I matched my metals - I'm kind of a stickler about matching hardware.  Unless you have a fab arm party going on (with lots of gold AND silver), it's best to keep things consistent in my opinion.

I don't have a close-up shot of my boots for you guys, but they're from Naturalizer.  They're pricey, but they're quality shoes that'll last. Also, they're very comfortable because they're made with patented contoured footbeds that provide extra arch and heel support.  You're still getting height though so don't worry - they're about 3" high.
Skirt:  Chicwish (similar) || Shoes:  c/o Naturalizer || Top:  c/o INC via Macy's || Blazer:  Barneys Factory Outlet (similer)

A shot of my necklace for you guys!  Unfortunately, I don't have a link for you guys, but I'll make sure to share other adorable and affordable options with you guys below.

Necklace picks for you guys, as promised!

AOL Fall Beauty Awards

I'm THRILLED to announce that I'm a 2015 fall beauty judge for AOL! I tried over 20+ skincare products, and I'll be telling you guys all about the best of the best in today's post.
1.  Bliss Micro Magic ($48) - Micro Magic is, hands down, the most incredible at-home microdermabrasion treatment I've ever tried.  Formulated with fine volcanic pumice, vitamin E, and soothing aloe, this product exfoliates like no other.  I promise that you'll see AND feel a difference after one wash!  $48 may seem pricy but this item's worth every penny!  Use it twice a week after cleansing for max results.

2.  C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve ($5.50) - If you have dry lips, this item is a must-have.  It's emulsified with rose extract, which conditions and helps ease irritation.  As a plus, it smells like heaven and gives you a light pink tint.  I like to apply a thin layer before bed to keep my pucker moisturized.

3.  Artistry Youth Xtend Enriching Cream ($79.30) - Artistry may just be my new fave skincare line. This cream is unreal because it works overnight to "reprogram" your skin - it repairs existing damage, while improving smoothness and radiance.  Made of life-extending mediterranean botanical, this cream encourages skin's natural youth protein production.  FYI, it's currently on sale at Amazon for $79.30 (it's originally $169.95).  Purchase this STAT before it sells out.  I promise you'll thank me when your skin's softer than a baby's bottom, ha.  In my humble opinion, this cream's better than La Mer's famous moisturizing soft cream.

4.  First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads ($15 for 30, $30 for 60) - I don't know about you guys, but toner's a must for my daily skincare routine.  I usually use liquid toner, but I like these because they tone and exfoliate!  Ingredients include cucumber, indian gooseberry, lemon peel, and licorice root. Note: these pads are perfect for sensitive skin because they're free of harsh chemicals and colorants.

5.  Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser ($36) - I know I listed Bliss' exfoliating treatment above, but this cleanser's different because it's gentle enough for daily use.  Murad recommends using it 2-3 times a week, but IMO as long as you're not rubbing furiously, you can use it everyday.  It's made of three exfoliating agents - salicylic acid, lactic acid, and glycolic acid -  and Jojoba skin-polishing beads. The aforementioned ingredients loosen dulling buildup and polish excess debris.

6.  Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil ($48) - This product is everything.  It's seriously the best argan oil I've ever used.  Grown organically in Morocco, this formula contains healing, conditioning, and anti-aging properties.  I apply this on my face (over my moisturizing cream) 1-2x a week and on the ends of my wet hair daily.

7.  Erno Laszlo Phormula 3-9 ($255) - Man, Erno Laszlo knows good skincare.  This incredible cream will seriously impress - this is luxury at its finest. Rich, tropical tamanu oil boosts skin health and promotes rapid healing, while dromiceius oil restores the skin's moisture barrier and stimulates cell renewal.  Note: this product apparently smoothes scars, wounds, and burns (in addition to dry skin) - I can't really comment because I don't have any notable marks.

Have you guys tried any of these? What beauty products are you loving lately?
