Find of the Day: The Tyler Plaid Scarf ($20.76)

YAY!  It's time to share another FOTD.  For today's post, I've featured the lovely Tyler Plaid Scarf from Scarves Dot Net.  I can't recommend this piece enough - it's one of the cutest scarves I own. That's saying A LOT because I own a million different ones, ha!  Anywho, this super chic piece is currently on sale for $20.75.  If you decide to purchase this piece, you'll get free shipping (!!!) because you're buying $20+.  For orders under $20, you pay $2.95.  Just givin' you guys a heads up.
So here's the 411, the scarf has a mix of red, blue, brown, and cream with a yarn fringe.  It's made of 100$ viscose but feels like wool.  Measurements are as follow: 76"L x 33"W with a 4.5" fringe. Also, both men AND women can sport this piece and look baller.  Heads up, hand wash cold and line dry!
A closer look at the print! I freakin' LOVE this scarf, and I can't wait to style it for you guys on SS.  It's a big piece that looks awesome as a shawl or scarf - if you need suggestions on how to tie it, let me know by commenting below!  I don't know about you guys, but I think oversized scarves are tres chic!  Trust me when I say this piece looks far more expensive than it actually is.  Yeah, you're welcome in advance.

The Plaid Scarf

Excited to share a warm winter ensemble with y'all today on SS.  I finally styled the Bar III moto jacket I'm giving away HERE.  I told you guys it was BAMF.  The color's ridiculously chic, and the quality's unreal.  I can't believe it's faux-leather!  It's seriously legit.  Anywho,  I thought the rich oxblood hue would look great with gray so I threw on my Theory skinnies (from TJ Maxx, of course) and wore heels to match.  My scarf (from Scarves Dot Net)  ties the whole look together.  It's available HERE for ($11.96).  Make sure to browse their collection STAT - they have so many cute and affordable choices!

Summer Calling

Featuring another big-girl look for you guys today on SS, ha!  I've been trying to style more grown up looks as of late.  I can't even keep a straight face while saying that - you guys know what I mean.  Work-friendly, blah blah! *grins*  Anywho, before we get into today's LOTD I have news for y'all. Due to my super crazy schedule this semester, I'll only be posting personal style posts (for sure) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may update more often, but no guarantees at this point!  Hopefully my schedule will free up in a month or so.  I'll be blasting other content steadily in the place of daily looks as often as possible so keep an eye out!  Thanks for your patience, errbody.
So let's get to it!  Here's a full body shot for you guys!  Aren't my +OASAP heels absolutely adorable?  I'm obsessed with them.  Sometimes I wear them around my apartment just for funsies, HA!  Yeah, I wish I was joking. They're SO SO SO cute, and I love that the bows stay put via velcro.  Sounds ghetto, but I promise you that it's not.  As always, product links are provided below so scroll down.

WeStyle

Alright guys, it's safe to say that I'm obsessed with the new WeStyle App.  Think of it as a magical pocket stylist of sorts.  It's kind of like instagram - you follow peeps, they follow you, you upload fashion-y shots, browse cute OOTDs, and scroll through your feed, BUT (yes, I needed to type in all caps) you also get to give fashion advice to frands and strangers alike in real time.  Awesome right?

Let's take a peek at my discovery page!  You can search for people, brands, the whole shebang.
Here's what my profile looks like!  Only 6 followers so far *sniffles*  Come find me so I'm not lonely on there, guys.  I could really use your fashion input, and of course, I'd be more than happy to give YOU style advice on there as well.
Now onto posting.  You can "ask", "decide", or "inspire" - I'll give you guys examples of each to clarify.  Snap a pic and "ask" a question like, "would you guys wear this to a first date?"!  If you need help "deciding" which bag to get, make a collage and ask your friends.  Now, if you want to show off your sweet OOTD or share a bomb look you found online to "inspire" others, definitely do so.
I really love this app because it's great for men AND women - I feel like style apps are usually geared towards women *shrugs* I can't wait to see you guys on there!  Come join me, errbody!

The Sexy Two-Piece

Excited to show you guys my new two-piece courtesy of +AMI Clubwear
I kept things simple on the accessory front today by wearing a long pendant necklace.  The piece has a tassel accent and is available in silver or gold.  Clicky here to purchase - currently on sale for $10, originally $21.99.
A full body shot for you guys!  What do you guys think?  Yea or nay?  Would you wear this?  Heads up though, the material's definitely thin so you're gonna want to wear a thick coat on top if it's cold out!  Also, opt for a thong because the skirts skintight.  Panty lines = no-no.

Never Say Goodbye

Good aviators are a must-have for sure.  It's been difficult finding the right design, but I FINALLY found a flattering pair.  Thank god!  Took me long enough, ha.  Anywho, I'm seriously loving these +FREYRS sunnies.  Also available in black/gold, tortoise/brown, and tortoise/gray.  I own the black/silver, and I adore them.  Freyrs can do no wrong.  All their items are effin' cute and affordable.  Hit them up stat for legit eyewear!
Here's a close-up shot for you guys.  Not quite sure how I feel about the lighting in this pic.  I think it's a little too bright.  What do you guys think?
Oh, oh, oh!  I totes forgot to tell you guys about my new Burberry coat.  I got it on sale in Orlando for 30% off - I loveee outlet malls so much.
I wanted to elevate today's look so I threw on a printed scarf.  I like incorporating trendy touches into my outfits.  The sneaker heels and animal print add personality to a potentially "bland" look.  Oh, and I got my +Rebecca Minkoff bag at  Off Saks a while back during their "buy 2, get 1 free" bag sale.

The Bandage Maxi

Excited to partner up with Amiclubwear again on Sensible Stylista. I've always been a huge fan. Although they carry a lot of skimpy clubwear, they also sell cute and affordable clothing.
This particular number is a stunner.  A v-neck empire waist with a sheer overlay.  Very comfortable and flattering.  You'll feel like a total goddess wearing this piece.  Heads up, the back zipper is a pain - have someone help you out or you'll get mad frustrated.  Yes, I speak from personal experience, ha.  Also available in chartreuse.
A closer look at my dress.  Love the banded top so much - I'll always be a fan of the style.

Find of the day: H&M Jersey top ($9.95)

Alright guys, I'm so sorry I don't have an OOTD for y'all, but I'm crazy sick.  Anywho, for today's post, I've decided to start a new series on SS called "Find of the Day".  I'm not quite sure how often I'll post these as of yet, but I'll make sure to keep you guys in the loop.  I'll be sharing awesome picks with you guys (pieces I've purchased personally).  I recently copped this cute jersey top from +H&M, and I absolutely love it!  I was looking for cute work clothes and thought this would look awesome with a blazer.  So here's the 411:  100% polyester, long-sleeve v-neck, gently rounded hem with three buttons in front.
Let's take a closer look!  The floral print is beyond chic and looks even better in person.  FYI:  this top's available in 4 other colors/prints, but I wasn't a fan - they looked like pajama tops IMO *shrugs* but the yellow/floral?  Totes on point *thumbs up*.  Clicky HERE to purchase this piece.  OH, and I got this top in XS FYI.  For reference, I'm about 5'5 & 115 lbs.

What do you guys think of this series?  Please comment with feedback! Your input means the world to me.

PS.  I'm currently hosting an international giveaway with Bar III to give away a $180 moto jacket.

In Search of Sunrise

Man, shooting outside is wayyyyy better than takin' pics indoors.  Natural lighting makes such a difference!  I really should've done this earlier, haha.  ANYWHO, for today's post I've styled a casual look for you guys featuring new pieces courtesy of +AMI Clubwear and +FREYRS.
I've featured a lot of old clothing in today's post.  I got my sweater-dress at +EXPRESS wayyy back in the day.  They were having a huge sale in NYC, and I scored it for $10 - picked one up in red, too.  I don't like spending a crazy amount of money on pieces that aren't worth the investment.  I should write a post on items one should splurge on!  Let me know if that'd be helpful.
A closer look at my accessories.  I rarely wear hats, but this floppy number is such a good buy.  I kinda want to get one in every color, ha.  Clicky HERE to pick one up for yourself.  SUPER cute for sure.  OH, and my sunnies are from +FREYRS.  They're currently my favorite pair.  I sure do love a good cat-eye, and for $10?  Oh hell yes.

Cry For a Shadow

I think I found my new fave jean brand - +Joes Jeans FTW. For a long time, I was obsessed with low-rise skinnies, but they looked bad on me.  I don't know why I was being so stubborn.  I was SO set on wearing them even though they were uncomfortable.  Clothing should make you feel good AND flatter you in the right way.  On that note, don't be ashamed to size up if necessary.  I feel like a lot of people are stubborn about sizing.  Who cares if you're a 0 or a 12 for that matter?  Stores inflate sizes all the time anyways so go with the piece that fits you right!  It'll make SUCH a difference.
A closer look at my +Velvet Heart top - 100% washable Tencel with two front pockets and a longer split tail in the back.  LOVE the material - feels so good on my skin! Do you guys own any Tencel pieces?  Oh, and make sure to use code VHSS25 for an extra 25% off your purchase.
Another full body shot for you guys!  Re-featured my Celine-inspired +chicwish bag.
A closer look at my sunnies courtesy of Polette.  Also available in brown HERE.

The Lace Up Dress

Sooo I've always been a huge fan of The Girl That Loves, but I have to be honest with y'all. I'm not feelin' this dress.  It looks way better on their model than it does on me, haha!  I don't know.  IMO there's too much volume in general, and the top makes my chest look really strange in person.  Please don't let this review discourage you from checkin' out their line though.  I've reviewed SEVERAL of their pieces, and all of them (until now) have been SUPER cute.  This is seriously the only piece I've disliked.
Dress:  c/o The Girl That Loves
Necklace:  c/o Dainty and Bold ($41.49)
Bag:  Prada

Written in Reverse

Totes excited to re-feature my Shop June July skirt today on SS.  This gorgeous skirt is a serious must-have IMO.  I'm wearing a size small - measurements:  27" waist, 15" longest hem, 13" shortest hem.  The piece looks WAY more expensive than it is.  It's currently on sale for $39.99 (originally $45.99).  FYI:  the zippers look even more BAMF in person.
Threw on my +Burberry trench for warmth - I picked this up in FL a while back.  It was on sale for like half-off - still expensive but worth it. One should definitely splurge on a fab trench, and Burberry does it crazy well.  I'm a huge fan of their outerwear.  Chic and timeless - perfect for students and professionals alike.
Skirt:  c/o Shop June July ($39.99)
Bag:  c/o Paul's Boutique ($87.50)

Oh, and just in case you wanted to see the other skirt posts, here are links for y'all.  Apparently, I love wearing neutral tones, ha.  Which look do you guys like best?

An indoor shot for you guys!  I find it tough to take shots inside.  Lighting's always an issue.  Fortunately, this pic doesn't look too shabby.
