The Velvet Blazer

Alrighty y'all, I'm super excited to tell you guys about my new blazer.  I bought this in Orlando a couple months ago while I was on vacay with my family.  The Burberry Factory Outlet there was having a huge after-Christmas sale, and it was absolutely ridiculous.  An entire WALL of bags, coats, blouses, scarves, and etc., were all an extra 50% off on already heavily discounted prices.  I almost peed my pants in excitement, ha! Unfortunately, by the time I got there most of my sizes were sold out, but I grabbed EVERYTHING left in my size and ran to the fitting room.  I only ended up getting this blazer, but no complaints whatsoever.  I know I'm lucky to have found anything at all, haha.
This blue velvet blazer is SUCH a great addition to my wardrobe.  I know I'll be sporting it for YEARS to come.
I borrowed my mom's Prada for today's shoot.  Prada definitely has one of the classiest bag lines in my opinion.
A closer look at my new romper courtesy of Charlotte Russe.  The color combo is beyond cute.  Coral and navy FTW!

Look for Less: Three Floor Dress

For today's post, I've featured a stunning dress inspired by Three Floor Fashion.  I've always been a huge fan of their collection, so I was super excited to find a quality knock-off.  This version from Chicwish is on point!
Btw, here are a couple of my favorite Three Floor dress designs:

The Faux Leather Vest

Alright, I have to be real with you guys.  I was never a huge fan of vests, but I have to admit, they've been growing on me slowly but surely.  This edgy version from Deb definitely "toughens" up my look.  Fashion is all about juxtaposition so don't be afraid to mess around with different prints, textures, and colors.
What do you guys think?  Are vests hot or not?

The Patterned Dress

For today's post, I've styled a cute yet comfy work-friendly look for ya'll.  I got this dress from OASAP a couple weeks ago, and I was worried because I wasn't feelin' the length.  I thought it was way too long, but sa'll good cause I think I pulled it off ::insert winky face here::  To create a leaner silhouette, I belted the piece to draw the eye up higher giving the illusion of longer legs.  I also threw on black tights & super-high boots to give me extra height.  I wanted to look as "skinny" as possible cause the checkered pattern wasn't doing me any favors.
A closer look at my necklace courtesy of AS Jewelry...

Wardrobe Must-have: The Swing Dress

Dude, I'm seriously obsessed with this swing dress.  I'm super excited to sport it sans sweater in the Spring because I love the item's silhouette so much... but on the other hand, this cardi complements my dress so beautifully. FYI:  both pieces are from OMG Fashion, a UK sponsor I've worked with previously.
I really REALLY love OMG Fashion.  I highly recommend checking this boutique out.  I totally vouch for the quality of their clothing.  If  OH, and if you're a student you get an extra 20% off purchase! *pumps fist*
I love exposing my shoulder.  It's sexy way to subtly show off some skin.  Classy not trashy ::winks::
I love incorporating pops of animal print into my looks!

Charlotte Russe: Clubwear - Part 2

Alrighty guys, it's time for part 2 of my collaboration with Charlotte Russe.  A couple days ago, I showed ya'll how I'd style this sexy dress for school - clicky here to see the aforementioned post.  Now, it's time to rock it for a night out with girlfrands.
I decided to style this dress with metallic accessories.  I threw on a pair of rhinestone encrusted heels for a dramatic touch and wore a spiky necklace for edge.
I bought this necklace years ago, and I still wear it ALL the time.  I LOVE Baublebar so much.  I really hope I get to collaborate with them in the future *crosses fingers*
Dress:  c/o Charlotte Russe ($26.99)
Bag:  Coach Factory Outlet - old
Shoes:  c/o Deb ($37.42)
Necklace:  Baublebar

All Blue Everything

For today's post, I've styled another all-blue outfit *woot*!  This trench should look familiar because I featured it last week - clicky HERE to access the aforementioned post. I still can't get over how adorable this coat is.  All the details are unbelievably cute.
TIP:  Throw on nude pumps to elongate your legs!
My new chevron clutch is from Sew Sarah R - a cute online boutique that specializes in custom handbags.  There are a slew of unique patterns available, but if you're interested in purchasing my version, clicky here.
I got this dress from Madewell while it was on sale - it was half off with an additional discount of 30%.  I instantly fell in love with the design and cut - super classy and sophisticated.  Plus, when I tried this piece on I felt like a character from Mad Men so I couldn't resist, hardy har har!

How-to: Wear a Midi Skirt

I'm super excited for today's post because ::drum roll, please:: I'm wearing a midi skirt for the FIRST time in my life, yay! I've avoided this length for so long because I assumed only leggy models & tall fashionistas could pull off this look, but hey, I don't think I look half bad ::grins::
Midis usually have full skirts aka lots of volume, so I recommend wearing a fitted shirt on top.  Remember, balance is key. Also, don't be afraid to show some skin on top.  Since your bottom is conservative, there's nothing wrong with being a little risque.  OH, and don't forget to throw on a pair of heels - the extra height will do your legs wonders.
Top:  c/o Deb
Necklace:  c/o Deb ($9.03)
Sunnies:  c/o Oasap
Bag:  Prada - gifted

Charlotte Russe: Clubwear - Part 1

For today's post, I've partnered up with Charlotte Russe to show ya'll how I wear "party pieces" during the day.  Although this super sexy dress is ideal for a GNO (girls night out obvi), it can still look tres chic during the day...there should be an accent mark over the "e" in "tres", but cut me some slack.  I don't know how to insert symbols in blogger yet, ha. Anywho, keep an eye out for part 2.  I'll be blasting it later this week.  I know you're itching to see how I style this baby for a fun night out with frands.
I paired my dress with a "baggy" faux leather jacket and threw on a pair of classy nude pumps to elongate my legs.  My tote adds personality while serving as a "backpack" for school.  I always carry oversized totes for books!  What can I say?  I like feeling like Mary Poppins =P
I bought this necklace at a Talbots Factory Outlet way back in the day (a couple years ago or so), and it's still in great condition.  I think it adds a "conservative" feel to the look balancing the body con aspect of the dress.  If you want extra warmth, throw on a pair of nude stockings.
OH, I also think this dress would also look amazing with black tights + a black blazer + statement necklace.  Maybe I'll style it like that if there's a next time, hardy har har.

Motives Cosmetics Review

I know it's been a while since I last did a beauty blast, but better late than never right? Anywho, for today's post I'll be reviewing a few items from Motives Cosmetics.  Oh, and although these products were sent to me free of charge, ya'll can count on me for an honest review.  Ya'll know how I roll!
1.  Illuminating Lip Shine ($13.95) - Dude, this item is AWESOME!  It comes with a mirror and LED light so you can fix your gloss anywhere, anytime.  I seriously felt like a ninja whippin' this gloss out, haha.  Oh and FYI, I got the Wild Honey shade.
2.  Collagen Core Lipstick ($22.50) -  This lipstick supposedly reduces the appearance of fine lines with hydrolyzed collagen.  I got this in Sincere (a subtle nude) but it's available in three other colors.  I gotta say, I'm a fan of this product!  Especially since I've been obsessed with "natural" makeup as of late.
3.  Lustrafy High Definition Mascara ($16.95) - I LOVE this mascara.  I'm super impressed because it doesn't clump at all.  I love laying mascara on thick so consistency is really important to me.  If you're looking for a new mascara to play around with, I suggest checking this out!
4.  La La Mineral Kohl Eyeliner ($15) -  A solid eyeliner for sure - this mineral-based pencil glibes on nicely.  I got it in black, but it's available in three other colors (Earth, Violet, and Myst).
5.  Lip Boost ($15.75) -  This lipstick is available in 6 different colors - I got Rebel.  It's a solid color for sure.  I like applying clear gloss on top!  I realllly wanna try Riot and Risk, too.  They look super pretty.
6.  Mineral Lip Shine ($17.95) - This gloss is SO pretty!  This item hydrates and conditions your lips while providing some serious shine and sparkle.  Although the color is very pretty, the gloss feels a bit sticky.  Just giving you guys a heads up.

Have you guys heard of Motives Cosmetics?  Anywho, I'm always looking for new items to try so please comment with product recommendations!  Thanks for reading, errbody!

The Gold Mini-Skirt

Alright guys, I'm not gonna lie.  I'm feelin' a bit lazy so today's post is gonna be shorter than usual.  Don't be mad!  I loves you ::makes heart sign::
For today's post, I've styled my new gold mini-skirt from Kash Collection.  I wish I could give ya'll a product link because this piece is on POINT, but it's (very sadly) no longer available!  I'm reallllly hoping they'll stock up on more skirts soon though. I've been drooling over this item, but it's sold out too *sobs*

The Distressed Bomber

For today's post, I've featured a trendy yet casual look showcasing a slew of sponsored pieces from Shop JuneJuly, Deb, Nashelle, Living Doll LA, and Sole Society.  Phew!  That was a mouthful.  Anywho, I stuck with a neutral color scheme because I wanted to mess around with different prints.
A closer look at my new bag.  Prada is definitely one of my favorite designers - their bags are so classy...
OH, I finally managed to get a close-up of my necklace from Nashelle - super dainty and feminine.  Doesn't it remind you of Gorjana jewelry?
Being sketchy with my fur hood, hardy har har...
Dude, these Sole Society boots are on sale right now for $60.  I highly recommend purchasing these babies.  Hurry! They're almost sold out...

Hot Like Sriracha

Can we just talk about how awesome my post title is? Ha!  For the record, I don't actually find Siracha that spicy, but whatever. Anywho, for today's post I've styled a sexy LRD (little red dress, obvi).  I'm totally in love with this dress.  Check out the link I've provided below for a slew of cute LRDs...
