Find of the Day: The Brooke Open Shoulder Top ($32)

Stoked to tell you guys about today's find!  This fab open shoulder top (available HERE) from Pretty & Chic Boutique is a serious must-have.  The crochet lace detailing is super pretty, and the cutouts are on point!  I don't normally like baring my shoulders - I'm self conscious about my arms, don't judge me - but this top is too cute to pass up.  Oh, and FYI: $32 for the sweater + FREE SHIPPING.
I also really like the material.  It  feels really nice against my skin - it's 55% rayon and 45% polyester.   The top's available in three sizes online: small, medium, and large.  I've included some additional shots below for your convenience!
A closer look at the crochet detailing...
 An obligatory back shot...
I love that you can dress this top up AND down.  It also transitions well season to season.  What do you guys think?  Yea or nay?  Would you purchase this piece?  On another note, how do you feel about this series?

Forever Today

Feelin' all sorts of grown up on today's post.  Love, love, LOVE my new +Ann Taylor blouse!  I got it on sale for $25 last week *pumps fist* Yay for digging through clearance racks.  I also picked up a pair of lacy black slacks for $30.  I was super excited because I have THE toughest time finding flattering "work" pants.  ANYWHO, I thought I'd feature a work-friendly look today on Sensible Stylista.
I styled the blouse with gray Vince skinnies (bargain buy way back in the day at +T.J.Maxx) and a Theory blazer (scored years ago in Orlando at Off Saks during a blowout sale).  I tied the whole look together with a +Coach scarf (gifted).   I know I'm wearing a lot of designer stuff today, but trust me when I say I copped them all when they were MAD discounted.  Stores like TJ Maxx Runway, Off Saks, Nordstrom's Rack, etc., carry designer brands for MUCH less.  Also keep in mind that certain pieces (like blazers and bags) are totally worth the investment.  Think of cost per wear *grins*
Let's take a closer look at my ECCO shoes.  I almost always wear heels, but these were just too cute to pass up.  Such high quality!
Oh, and Daisy wanted to take a pic with me, haha.  Yay for cute animal shots~

Staying Healthy with Latreal Mitchell

I don't know you guys have hear of Latreal Mitchell, but she's kind of a big deal - she's Michael Strahan's personal trainer.  She's also working with Meta.  Anwyho, for today's post, I'll be sharing some of her health tips/tricks to revamp your diet since it's the new year and all.  Let's start with a few food swaps she recommends:

1.  Meta Health Bars instead of cookies or candy bars
2.  Almonds and light popcorn instead of chips
3.  Green apples or pears instead of fruit snacks or candy
4.  Whole-wheat crackers with peanut butter instead of peanut butter cups
5.  Steel cut oats instead of sugary cereal
6.  Dark chocolate instead of milk, white, etc.
7.  Water instead of soda - keep a big bottle at your desk!  Add Metamucil powder to stay hydrated and get multi-health benefits from the extra fiber boost.

Also, La was generous enough to share one of her SUPER short 10-minute workouts!  I know we're all busy and whatnot, but who doesn't have 10 minutes to spare, especially when it'll enrich the quality of your life!

What are some of your fave fitness tips?  How do you guys stay healthy and active?
