The Burberry Poncho: My First Designer Purchase

I've always been a huge fan of ponchos!  I picked this baby up wayyyyy back in the day at an upscale boutique in Pittsburgh.  It was actually my first designer purchase.  I'm proud to say that it was money well spent.  I've worn this baby for 12+ years, and it's still in perfect condition.  For today's OOTD, I paired my poncho with snakeskin leggings (courtesy of Hue) and sexy over-the-knee boots. I really like the texture play of today's ensemble, but I guess I'm biased, ha!

Workwear Wednesday: The Plaid Tunic

I'm super excited to partner up with Gentle Fawn again on SS.  If you missed my previous collab with them, clicky here!  Anywho, I centered today's OOTD around my new plaid tunic courtesy of GF. I paired the piece with a mauve cardigan and wore accessories to match.  As y'all can see, I'm all about simple color schemes as of late!  To top things off, I threw on a cute necklace for a bit of pizzazz. BTW, I'm sorry I look a little off today - I'm not feeling very well so I look a bit "eh."  Apologies!

Here's my tunic sans cardi!  Isn't the print super cute?  I absolutely love wearing this baby because it's stylish AND comfortable.  A solid tunic is a must-have in my book because it's perfect for a lazy day! You just throw one on and pair it with leggings and boots for a quick but fab ensemble.

The fit's on the loose side - think super stylish boyfriend cardi - so size down.  I bought an xs, and it fits me perfectly!  The faux-fur collar doesn't shed at all, and it looks "expensive," which is really important because I'm allergic to all things cheap-looking, ha.
