Wearing Stitch Fix from Head to Toe

Extra pumped for today's OOTD because my adorable furbaby's making an appearance!  I took these shots with my mom back in Pittsburgh - my dad was grilling steaks + chicken outside so the entire family decided to keep him company.
For my featured OOTD, I pretty much wore Stitch Fix from head to toe!  I got everything - to be more specific, my jacket, scarf, and jeans - while I was there for my SF trip.  If you missed my recaps, click here for part 1 and here for part 2.
I can already tell that these pieces are going to be cold weather staples for years to come.  For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, they're an AMAZING styling service + fashion retailer.  If you're a fan of personalized packages, you'll absolutely love them.  All you have to do is fill out a detailed style profile (to help them understand your size, style, budget, lifestyle, and more) and sit back.  Note: you DO pay a $20 styling fee, but it'll be applied as credit toward anything you decide to purchase! Oh, and did I mention that shipping's (plus returns) totally free?  That's what I'm talking about!
Other fabulous scarves that are perfect for winter!
Daisy loves cuddling with me!  In case you were wondering, her haircut looks hella funny because I did it myself. The last time I took her to the groomer, she was traumatized for weeks so I do it for her now.  She loves going to Petsmart for toys and noms though, ha!  Do you guys have pets?

Find of the Day: The Khaki Mini ($34.99)

Alright guys, I'm excited to share yet another fab find with y'all!  I centered today's OOTD around my new Metisu mini. This skirt is ridiculously adorbs! I mean, look at that side slit - how could you NOT adore this piece!  I'm loving the trendy but minimalistic design.  The quality's comparable to that of H&M, and in case you were wondering, the fabric's legit.  Made of 100% nylon, it has a zipper back and a bowknot waist.  Note:  contrary to their description, this does NOT run true to size - I usually wear size XS/S, but I had to get a M - so double-check your measurements.
Run, Sensible Stylista, run!  Sorry (not sorry), I'm a nerd, BUT now that I got that out of the way, let's move on, ha. I styled my skirt with a warm printed sweater and threw on over-the-knee boots for a cozy fall look.  Can we just take a second and bask in the greatness that is Stuart Weitzman? These def. cost me a freakin' arm and leg, but they were worth every penny.  I'm actually thinking about getting another pair in grey or taupe.  What do you guys think?  BTW, I'm going to link more affordable OTK boots below so make sure y'all get your scroll on.
As promised, here are other fabulous options all under $100!

Find of the Day: The Frill Tank ($15.50)

Sharing yet another fabulous find with you guys today on SS!  This adorable tank top is currently available on ASOS for $15.50 (it was originally $38).  Made of a stretchy woven fabric, this top's super flattering and comfortable.  If you're a fan of frills, this tank is an absolute must-have.  I'm wearing a size 4, and it fits me perfectly.  I'd say it's roughly equivalent to a US small.  FYI:  European sizing is different so make sure you double check your measurements, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
For today's OOTD, I paired the aforementioned tank with fun skinnies! I don't know if you guys remember, but I covered Joe's Jeans' Denim event a while back on SS.  They had a bunch of different DIY options available (ripping, embroidering, etc.), but I just went with paint for funsies.  What do you guys think of them - yah or nah?  Would you wear these jeans?

Find of the Day: The Asymmetrical Mini Skirt ($24.99)

Pumped to share my latest bargain find with you guys today on SS.  If you're a fan of the menswear trend (or cute skirts in general), you'll fall head over heels in love with this piece.  Made of 90% polyester, the asymmetric hem + bowknot waist are on point.  The quality's comparable to Forever 21/H&M, which makes perfect sense for the price.
For today's post, I styled my new skirt with a loose knit and threw on patterned tights for personality - I kept everything super simple because I wanted my stockings to take centerstage. I'm such a huge fan of cute legwear. In fact, so much so that I have an entire pinterest board (called "All About Tights") dedicated to it.  How do you guys feel about tights - are they hot or not? Do you wear them often? If yes, where do you like to purchase them?

Getting Holiday Ready: Outfit + Giveaway

Alright guys, I'm super excited to partner up with Single Edition Media today on SS to celebrate Katy Perry's new Mad Love fragrance.  For today's post, I styled a fabulous look inspired by the perfume in honor of the holidays!
Love, love, LOVE the perfume's packaging.  The glass design takes its cues from a classical round potion bottle that has been dipped in Cupid's favorite color, and his arrow is displayed prominently on the sleek neck of the bottle.  The front of features an embossed heart-shaped seal's inspired by the vintage wax seals from love letters, and the marbleized cap is the finishing touch.

Isn't the pale pink color super pretty?  I decided to go with its color scheme for today's OOTD for funsies!  I centered everything around my new skirt from ASOS.  I'm beyond obsessed with its design!  If you're into high-waisted skirts, this piece is an absolute must-have.  The ruffles are ridonkulously cute, and the best part is that *drum roll, please* it's currently on sale for $22 (originally $73).
I styled it with a crop turtleneck and accessorized with my current favorite statement necklace from J Wholesale to elevate my style game.  Then, I threw on sky-high heels and carried my Ferragamo crossbody bag.  To finish things off, I sprayed a bit of KP's Mad Love on top!  I'm not usually a huge fan of celebrity perfumes, but this baby's a game changer.  The smell's sweet and fruity - if you feel like channeling your inner girly girl, give this a try. TIP: Spritz it onto your clothing for longer lasting power.
Now, let me give you guys some background regarding the fragrance.  The House of Katy Perry has 3 Pillars:  Purr, Killer Queen, and Mad Potion - Mad Love is an extension of the Mad Potion franchise. The scent features the succulence of lady apple sorbet and mara strawberry blended to perfection with the freshness of delicious pink grapefruit.  Middle notes of peony petals, smooth sun-kissed jasmine, and the hypnotic pull of the bleeding heart flower to stimulate and captivate the senses.  Indulgent warmth builds in the background with the allure of coconut wood, skin musk, and ever so sensual sandalwood.
A closer look at deets!  Have you guys scored any awesome bargain buys as of late?  If yes, make sure you fill me in by leaving a comment below.  I actually haven't gotten anything other than this skirt recently!  I've been trying to be good about saving $$$ especially since the holidays are coming up hella soon.

Menswear Inspired Vibes

Re-featuring my fave faux-leather skirt again on SS for today's OOTD.  As you all know, I'm big on re-styling pieces because, well, it's the practical thing to do, ha.  So, for my latest, I threw together a casual menswear-inspired look.
I paired my skirt with a cropped turtleneck and wore a tweed vest on top for a cozy, fall-friendly vibe. I wanted to keep things simple so I skipped jewelry all together, but I carried my Ferragamo crossbody as an accent accessory - it's surprisingly bold in person!

Pearl Accents

Pumped to tell you guys all about today's work-friendly outfit.  I centered my ensemble around my latest bargain find.  I picked it up at Last Call for $44 (not really a bargain), BUT it's currently on sale for $17 here.  It was originally $178 so you're def. getting a good deal - you know that I'm all about getting the most bang for my buck! It's a really great dress - well made and super versatile.  Pair it with tights and pumps for a stylish office-appropriate look or throw on stilettos and grab your favorite clutch for date night.
I styled the dress with my favorite faux-leather jacket (from Donna Degnan) and threw on comfortable slip-on heels.  Then I accessorized with my pearl baubles from Trollbeads.  Love, love, LOVE these timeless pieces.  If you're a fan of classic jewelry, you'll want to cop them stat!

Stitch Fix Style Challenge No. 2: All About the Utility Jacket

Alright guys, last week I shared my first Stitch Fix look with you all here.  Now it's time for part 2! The second challenge was all about the military trend!  SF sent their tastemakers a fabulous utility jacket to style pre-trip. I threw together several looks for the shoot, but I decided to switch things up last minute.  I mean, they generously gave us all a brand new fall wardrobe so why not wear SF from head to toe?
So, for today's OOTD, I started with a chic gray dress.  I layered my utility jacket on top and then accessorized with a multi-metal pendant necklace + tartan blanket scarf.  To finish things off, I threw on strappy nude heels to elongate my legs.  How would you guys wear this jacket? And are you a fan of the military trend? For more inspo, check out this pinterest board.

Cozy & Casual in Georgetown

Oh how I love fall!  I'm beyond excited to whip out my favorite cardigans and binge drink pumpkin spice lattes like a totally basic chick (#sorrynotsorry).  What do you guys like most about fall? I love feeling the crisp air against my skin and watching the leaves change color.  I know it sounds cheesy, but it's all so magical to me.
Anywho, I've styled another cozy look for you guys today on SS.  I centered my outfit around a fab long tank from Velvet Heart.  I've featured them on here several times already, but if you still feel unfamiliar with their brand, you need to check them out stat!  Their designs are effortlessly fashionable so you'll ooze casual cool on the daily with zero effort whatsoever.
I paired my tank with grey skinnies and threw on a chunky knit on top for extra warmth.  To finish things off, I wore boots to match and a incorporated a pop of animal print by wearing new Freyrs sunnies.
