The Best Sneaker Brand You've Never Heard Of

I've never been big into sneakers...until now.  If you follow me on instagram, you already know I'm straight up obsessed with my new kicks from GREATS.  I'm wearing a style called "The Royale" in blanco, and damn, it oozes steeze.  At $159, the pair doesn't come cheap, but you're investing in serious quality that'll last for years to come. For those of you interested, it's available in 5 other textures/colors:  blush, perforated nero, perforated blanco, perforated blush, and nero.
Anywho, for today's OOTD, I styled a casual look for you guys.  I remixed my faux-suede H&M mini (previously featured here) and paired it with a plain white tee and threw on a fashionable bomber on top for style & warmth.  I didn't wear jewelry because I thought it'd be overkill with the embellished neckline and all.

Runway to Real Life: How I Wear Statement Sleeves on the Daily

Beyond pumped to share shots from my fourth and final collab with the fabulous Joe Tran today on SS.  For my latest OOTD, I've featured two of my current favorite bargain buys:  my $9.99 Zara asymmetrical skirt and my $10 Charlotte Russe crop.  I purchased the former during a blowout sale online and the latter at a factory outlet in Hanover, MD.
I'm not usually a big fan of trends, but I'm all about crazy sleeves.  They dominated runways during fashion week, and I just can't get enough of them.  For those of you looking to jump on the statement top train, check these fab styles out (varying price points):

Two Sweaters for the Price of One

Beyond excited to partner up with Morning Lavender again on SS!  I don't know if y'all remember, but I styled one of their gorg dresses on here a while back - it was a dreamy white number, and I shot it in NYC with the wonderful Jiyang Chen.
Their entire collection is goals so I pretty much want everything they sell, but I'm currently obsessed with their Carly light grey twisty sweater.  It's $54.99 so it doesn't come cheap, but it's seriously too cute to pass up.  Made of a cotton/acrylic blend, this baby can be dressed up and down, forwards or backwards.  Anddd as a bonus, it's super lightweight so it'll transition beautifully into the spring.  I'm wearing small/medium and it fits me well, and it's on the looser side, which I love!  What can I say? I've always been a fan of the oversized silhouette - also available in medium/large.
For today's OOTD, I styled my new sweater with a flowy skirt from BCBG for a feminine look.  I wanted to keep things simple so I skipped jewelry and carried my new Gucci crossbody and heels to match!  How would you guys style this sweater?

Editorial: Prickly Thorn, but Sweetly Worn

Hey guys, it's time for another editorial on SS.  I'm beyond pumped to share today's post with you guys - it's the first of three fabulous shoots I did with the incredible Jared Wolfe in his new studio in Alexandria, VA.  His work is always amazing, but these shots are my favorite by far!  I can't wait to show you guys the rest!  Stay tuned for lots of awesome things to come.
I'm wearing so many of my favorites in today's post.  I told you guys all about my boots HERE a while back so let's skip that and start with my new statement necklace courtesy of JWholesale!  I can't even begin to tell you guys how cute this piece is. I own a bajillion of their baubles, but this takes the cake, and it's even cuter in person!
My new dress is from Gentle Fawn.  You guys should be familiar with them already - since I've featured them on SS several times in the past - but if you need a refresher, they're all about steeze (style + ease).  Their designs are effortlessly fashionable and ooze quality with their fabrics and construction.  I seriously want everything they sell! Have you guys come across their brand in stores yet?

Teaming Up with Trollbeads for V-Day

I'm super pumped to partner up with Trollbeads for my latest post!  They asked me to style a fabulous Valentine's day look, and I, of course, happily obliged.  I don't know if you guys remember, but a while back, I featured this dress as a find-of-the-day.  Lucky for y'all, it's still available online, and it's even MORE affordable than before.
For those of you interested, it's currently on sale for $22.50, which is a total steal because it was originally $57. The textured mesh & cutout front ooze sexy, but the length balances everything out. You're showing a tasteful pop of skin up top, and everything else is modest so you're still keeping it classy.  The straps are adjustable, and the waistband stretches so you'll look amazing AND be comfortable all night.  I mean, does it really get much better than that?
Other affordable LBDs for your browsing pleasure (all under $50):
Let's take a closer look at my fabulous accessories.  LBDs are like blank canvases begging to be adorned so jewelry is an absolute must.  I wanted to look elegant so I went with simple but classic baubles to elevate my ensemble. I'm wearing Trollbeads' espresso noir bangle matching earrings and carrying a gorgeous clutch from Lily Rain.
A close up shot of my earrings.  These babies are currently on sale for $69 so run, don't walk.  Take advantage of their discounted prices now so you have a killer v-day gift ready to go in your arsenal. Flaunting DVF Florals

Man, I'm really missing warm weather right about now.  I'm seriously freezing my butt off in Maryland.  I kind of wish I could turn back time and go back to Florida!  I definitely wouldn't mind spending a few extra days there.  I didn't take many outfit shots during vacay - this is actually the only one - BUT I snapped a bunch of travel photos so stay tuned! I'll be sharing them all on SS very soon.
I'm all about florals for today's featured look.  I bought this gorgeous DVF dress online at Last Call back in November for *prepare yourself* $49.10 (!!!!!).  Are you clapping for me right now? Because you totally should be, ha!  In all seriousness though, I was beyond THRILLED to discover this find.

This is my first official DVF piece, guys!  I've always been a huge fan of her printed wrap dresses, but as y'all probably know, her collection tends to be on the pricier side so I refrained.  Hashtag self-control FTW!  So naturally, when I saw this fabulous dress available online for a fraction of the price - it was originally $245.50 - I snatched it up without thinking twice.
My parents and I were going out to dinner at a fancy schmancy place in Naples so I decided to dress up for the occasion...not that you ever need a reason to dress up, but you know what I mean.  We had reservations at HobNob, a high-end American bistro, and I was super excited because they had glowing reviews on Yelp.  Turns out, the hype was totally warranted.  I was beyond impressed with their food, and I can't wait to tell you guys more about their noms in my travel diary!

Anywho - sorry, I totally got sidetracked - for my outfit of the night, I accessorized with a matching clutch and beige platform heels to elongate my legs.  I ordered these shoes on AMICLUBWEAR's website, and they're surprisingly comfortable.  I say "surprisingly" because they're like 6" high.  I'm actually a pretty big fan of their shoe collection.  They carry a ton of different brands, but my favorites are Privileged and Qupid.  If you're interested in purchasing these heels for yourself, you can buy them here.  They're currently on sale for $12.99 (originally $34.99) so you're in luck!  Have you guys found any bargain buys recently? If yes, make sure you leave a comment below telling me all about it.

Introducing You Guys to WearMe Pro's Shadesbox

As many of you know, I just got back from Naples, FL a few days ago.  I stayed at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf resort with my family and had a fabulous time.  The hotel was absolutely beautiful (not to mention spotless), and everyone there was super friendly and attentive.  I pretty much ate myself to death though - if you've been following my adventures via instastories, you already know all about it.
Anywho, while I was there, I pretty much spent all of my time outside so I was sporting different sunnies on the daily.  Not only do they make a killer fashion statement, they protect your eyes while doing so.  I seriously own 50+ designs because I think they make such fabulous accessories.
Thanks to WearMe Pro's SHADESBOX, I got to gallivant around FL in style.  If you decide to sign up with 'em too, you'll get 4 packages a year; FYI, each one contains 3 sunglasses so you'll receive 12 pairs total. Simply fill out a brief survey for them so they know what your style preferences are - you only have to do it once, but you're free to change them whenever you want.
Each season costs $29.99, which is less than $10 per month.  If you do the math, which I obviously did because I'm all sorts of sensible, it's like getting a free pair each time (as opposed to purchasing pairs individually). Get even more bang for your buck if you pay for your year all at once.  Simply enter code "save50" at checkout to get 50% off your first box when choosing the billed-annually option.
My style settings are as follows: women, casual, oversized + round + cateye, and black + grey + tortoiseshell.  I honestly couldn't be more pleased with my sunnies!  All three of them are cute and SO me.  Which pair do you guys like best - 1, 2 or 3?  OH, and before I forget, I'll be hosting a giveaway with them VERY soon, so make sure you guys keep your eyes peeled.

The Ultimate Wrap Dress

I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I love this wrap dress from ASOS.  I'm all about looking cute, but feeling comfortable is my number 1 concern (at least most of the time, ha).  Regardless of what I wear, I've found that confidence is key.  I don't know about you guys, but I can't feel like a rockstar if I'm feeling self-conscious about my body.  I mean, constantly tugging my clothes and re-adjusting my outfit? Definitely not a good time in my book.
So, why do I like this dress so much?  Firstly, it doesn't wrinkle...like at all, which is awesome because it doesn't get messed up in the car.  I go to events in DC quite often so I'm usually driving for 1-1.5 hours, and at the end of it all, everything gets wrinkled because I'm sitting for so long.  A big bummer for sure, but luckily, I own a bunch of pieces that combat the distance well.

Secondly, it's cute but super comfy - the material has a lot of give, and the design highlights the small of my waist, which creates the illusion of longer legs and a curvier hourglass figure.  I'm super self-conscious of my back-fat so this piece masks that perfectly.  This item's currently low-stock, but here are similar designs for you guys!

A close-up shot of my Chloe bag!  Isn't it darling? A solid neutral bag is a must-have for every lady because it'll go with any and everything.  I'll make sure to link similar options below in varying price points for y'all.

A huge thanks to Armato Photography for taking these beautiful photos.

Falling in Love with Trollbeads: OOTD + Giveaway

Partnering up with Trollbeads again on SS for another fun outfit post + giveaway!  For today's LOTD, I styled a boho-esque ensemble for y'all.  I started with my current fave tunic from Amiclubwear and paired it with printed sandals. Then, I accessorized with my favorite Trollbeads jewels and threw on oversized sunnies to top things off.
Let's take a closer look at my Espresso Noir earrings!  These gorgeous babies are made of Onyx stones, and they're part of Trollbeads' "Falling in Love Collection."  They represent clarity and strength, AND they're currently on sale for $69 (originally $93)!
Other fabulous tunics:

A closer look at my arm party!  Beyond obsessed with these beads.  I don't know if you guys remember, but like I told y'all in this previous post, each stone has a meaning.  Feldspar Moonstone (the coral-ish color) represents calm & balance, Milky Quarts (the white) stands for innocence & purity, and the Black Onyx - as mentioned above - symbolizes clarity & strength.  Which bead do you guys like best? Oh, and a HUGE thank you to the amazing DCP New York for shooting these photos!  Make sure you guys check him out.
