Editorial: In Search of an Emerald Sky

Feeling straight up regal today on SS!  I centered my latest post around my new formal dress courtesy of Amiclubwear.  I've always been a huge fan of velvet so it was pretty much love at first sight.  On top of it all, it's apparently making a comeback this fall.  I'm sure you all have already seen the standard velvet-dress-over-a-white-tee combo.  What do you guys think of the trend - yah or nah? Pearl Accents

Pumped to tell you guys all about today's work-friendly outfit.  I centered my ensemble around my latest bargain find.  I picked it up at Last Call for $44 (not really a bargain), BUT it's currently on sale for $17 here.  It was originally $178 so you're def. getting a good deal - you know that I'm all about getting the most bang for my buck! It's a really great dress - well made and super versatile.  Pair it with tights and pumps for a stylish office-appropriate look or throw on stilettos and grab your favorite clutch for date night.

I styled the dress with my favorite faux-leather jacket (from Donna Degnan) and threw on comfortable slip-on heels.  Then I accessorized with my pearl baubles from Trollbeads.  Love, love, LOVE these timeless pieces.  If you're a fan of classic jewelry, you'll want to cop them stat!
