Velvet Heart's Classic Button-Front: Three Ways

I'm super excited to share today's post with you guys - I did something a little different for y'all.  Instead of just sharing my OOTD, I decided to style a piece three different ways!  I thought this would be more helpful.  I tried to create a different vibe for each look.  I've partnered up with Velvet Heart again and centered my post around the chic indigo top they sent me.

Let's start with the basics:
Material:  100% rayon
Feels like: suede - so freakin' soft
Fit:  slouchy with a high-low hem
Quality comparable to:  Joe's Jeans

Available: for $72 HERE

FIRST LOOK: CASUAL & CHIC
I feel like a total Madewell "model" wearing this ensemble.  The printed shorts complement the top really well because the pattern contains the same shade of indigo.  I threw on a pair of beige heels to elongate my legs and carried my Ora Delphine bucket bag to match.  I accessorized with a dainty gold necklace to finish off the look.

SECOND LOOK:  TRENDY & SOPHISTICATED
I went with another "neutral" bottom - I copped this skirt years ago at ShopJuneJuly.  They have a lot of really unique and trendy stuff.  Dani Song (Aimee Song's sister) has worn a lot of their clothing in the past.  That's actually how I discovered SJJ - gotta love the Song sisters!

Anywho, the skirt's pattern matches my top AGAIN.  Noticing a trend? Ha.  I accessorized with the same gold necklace pictured above and grabbed my fab leopard clutch.  Animal print has so much personality!  I really enjoy wearing pops of it (think shoes & bags).  It's definitely one of my favorite patterns to wear.  If you're nervous about wearing the bold print, start small!  I recommend purchasing a pair of chic pumps.

THIRD LOOK:  COOL AS A CUCUMBER
The classic combo:  a slouchy top + skinny jeans.  You really can't go wrong with this look! I took it up a notch by sporting tie-dyed skinnies, but any type of denim will do.  Pick your weapon of choice!  FYI:  I copped these babies way back in the day at TJ Maxx while they were on clearance.  I freakin' LOVE that store.  I scour their racks like a total pro!  I know sifting through can be a pain, but trust me when I say it's worth it.  I promise you'll find great deals.

Honestly y'all, this look is foolproof.  There's a reason why men like their gals in jeans + basic t-shirts.  It's simple yet classic.  The ensemble's effortlessly sexy and timeless.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!  Did y'all find it helpful? Should I do more of these in the future?Which look is your fave?

The Blazer Dress

I'm stoked to partner up with Storets again on SS today.  Their fab blazer dress oozes runway chic.  The double breasted jacket has pleats at the bottom and pockets on the side for one's convenience.  I'm wearing a S/M below.  The piece is a bit big on me for my taste, but I feel like that's the style they had envisioned.  I'm probably going to get this item tailored because I like wearing fitted silhouettes.  That's just me though!

Here's some more info for you guys:
