Wardrobe Must-have: The Faux Leather Skirt

For today's post, I've styled a flirty look featuring a new top courtesy of Charlotte Russe. I've always been a big advocate of Forever 21, but I've officially switched sides.  They always have adorable stuff.  I mean, have you seen their dresses? Plus, their jewelry is so much better.  They recently sent me a couple necklaces to style, and I swear to you that they could pass for Amrita Singh designs.
On another note, when did the weather get so cold?  It's totally freezing outside.  I promise to start featuring "warmer" looks on here soon!
TIP:  Black leggings/tights + black heels/boots = long legs like woah!

Fall Trend: Patchwork Denim

For today's post, I've styled a casual denim-on-denim look!
Patchwork denim is apparently one of Fall's hottest trends!  What trends are you guys into this season?
I know I've featured this necklace several times already, but I still get can't over how cute it is!  Make sure to check out Bijoux Boutique for trendy yet afforable jewelry and accessories.
A closer look at my new heels.  I love incorporating pops of animal print in my everyday garb.  Be careful though, too much can look tacky.  I always make sure to limit myself to ONE piece per look.

Necklace:  c/o Bijoux Boutique ($32)

The Faux Leather Jacket

For today's post, I've featured a strapless dress courtesy of Charlotte Russe.  I think summer dresses transition beautifully into the colder seasons. For a Fall-friendly look, I paired my dress with a faux-leather moto jacket.  Don't be afraid to experiment with different kinds of outerwear. Maybe you have a cute cardigan or blazer you'd rather layer with.
I threw on a pair of sky-high heels, but BAMF combat boots would've also looked bomb.  I love juxtaposing different styles when fashioning a look. Don't be afraid to get really creative.  Style is all about expressing yourself, so take all the risks you want!  TIP: If you want extra warmth, throw on a pair of leggings or tights!
I got this necklace online at J. Crew Factory for $31 a couple months ago. They were having a big sale, so I made sure to stock up on some jewelry.  I'm a huge fan of their accessories, although I'm not crazy about their clothing.  Weird right?  Especially since I'm obsessed with the clothing at Madewell.  Anywho, they actually have a sale going on right now if you're interested!  Click HERE to shop now...

Wardrobe Staple: The White Blazer

For today's post I've featured a flirty LWD courtesy of Charlotte Russe.  I know it's getting colder out, but I can't seem to let summer go.  I'm gonna milk my summer dresses until I absolutely cannot stand the cold any longer...and then keep wearing them with leggings, jackets, and boots HAHA! Whatever.  I do what I want.  Fashion has no rules!  Wear whatever you want, whenever you want.  Just make sure to wear it with confidence.
My new Haute Miss sunnies courtesy of Chictopia.  Super cute, right?
A closer look at my new coral necklace courtesy of Charlotte Russe.  It actually available in blue, too. Click HERE if you'd like to purchase the piece.
My dress actually came with a cute braided brown belt, but I decided not to wear it.  It was cute, but I didn't think it complemented the look.  I have to say that I'd definitely belt it if I wasn't wearing a blazer though.

For today's post, I've styled a casual outfit for ya'll.  I juxtaposed two of my favorite printed pieces for a fun & trendy vibe - I incorporated neutral pieces for balance.
I'm totally diggin' my new sunnies courtesy of Chictopia.  I really love the way they frame my face.  If ya'll are interested, I've provided a link below.  Anywho, I've been obsessed with unique sunnies as of late.  Where do you guys like to shop for sunnies?

The Asymmetrical Blazer

Hey errbody,  I hope ya'll are having a bumpin' weekend thus far.  Did you guys do anything special or fun?  If so, please leave me a comment telling me what you did so I can live my life vicariously through you, haha. I haven't had much of a social life as of late.  I have a bunch of concerts coming up so I've been working/practicing piano like crazy. ANYWHO, I know I don't usually blast outfit posts on Sundays, but I figured why not.
For today's post, I've styled a fun ensemble featuring a colorful blazer courtesy of Reese & Riley.  I actually won the piece in a giveaway a couple of months ago.
I totally felt like a ballerina during this photoshoot, haha. If only.  I wish I was half as graceful as a dancer.  Unfortuantely, I walk like a donkey.  Oh well, it is what it is.  Perhaps my walk will improve.  Probably not.  Yeah, definitely not.  It's ok.  I'll get over it.
Mandatory back shot!  LOVE the criss cross.  What do you guys think of this look sans blazer?  It's super romantic and feminine without it, but I like the trendy vibe the blazer adds to the ensemble.

Classy Cocktail Attire

For today's post, I've featured an elegant peplum mini-dress courtesy of Deb.  This piece is SO versatile.  I could totally see myself wearing it for a fun night out with the girls (think sky-high stilettos & bold accessories) or for a nice dinner out with that special someone (who happens to be imaginary in my case), haha!
Anywho, as I'm sure ya'll can tell, I went with the latter.  I styled the dress with a simple faux-pearl necklace and crisp pointy heels for a classy, polished vibe.  I then jacked my mom's Louis Vuitton to top off the look.  The bag complements my dress beautifully, while conveniently matching my other accessories.
FYI:  This dress is also available in black for those of you interested.  As always, the product links are provided below...
