Spring Break Cancun

HAHA, just kidding.  If only.  I wish I was in Cancun for break ::sigh:: I definitely wouldn't mind the warm weather!  I'm visiting my family in Pittsburgh instead which is just as fun but chillier *winks*

I thought it'd be cool to do a beach/pool post anyway!  I look ready to go with my straw hat and colorful maxi from AMI Clubwear.  I'm obsessed with the print, and the leg slit is so sexy.  The back is also exposed so it's perfect for hot weather. What do you guys like to wear poolside? Erm, other than swimwear obvi ::blushes::

Sweet Nothing

Skater dresses are so baller.  Comfy yet cute?  Yes please.  I got this dress from AMI Clubwear, and I'm totally obsessed with the color and design - even the back is cute!  I should've shown you guys the lace backing/sleeves, but it was SO cold outside.  I didn't want to take my jacket off - so sorry!  You forgive me, right? *grins sheepishly*

Anywho, I had a ton of fun styling this look.  The accessories really add character!  I always love incorporating pops of animal print.  Also, studded sunnies never hurt ::winks::

Rosettes and Ruching

The Sequin Mini-Skirt

ERMERGERD, SEQUINS!  I've been obsessed with sparkly things as of late...not really sure why I told you that cause I'm sure ya'll could tell from the sequin dress I featured yesterday, hardy har har.  Whatevers, sometimes it's nice to state the obvious ::grins::

I've always wanted a sequin skirt, but I never found one that I really liked...until now, ha!  I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but I finally manned up and tried sportin' one!  

I thought the peplum silhouette would be a nice contrast to the sequin bodycon.  What do you guys think?  How would you style this piece?

The Sweater Dress

For today's post, I'm channelling my inner Pocahontas, hardy har har, but in all seriousness, I love neutral color schemes. Always have, always will.  When I got this super chic AMI sweater dress in the mail, I knew exactly how I was gonna style it. I paired it with an oversized cocoon cardi from Deb and accessorized with an ivory bag and necklace.  I threw on a pair of boots for warmth, but nude heels would've looked better in my opinion.

I love these vintage Dior sunnies! My mom gave them to me last year.  Apparently, these were her favorite sunglasses back in the day.  I guess great taste runs in the family ::winks::
