Sensible Stylista

My Very First Chanel

Soooo I have some exciting news.  Ok maybe it's not THAT exciting, but it's exciting for me, haha.  I bought my FIRST Chanel bag a couple weeks ago!  ERMERGERD, I'm SO poor but so happy *grins*  Anywho, today's look is all about layers.  I started with a chic but simple top from Madewell.  I bought it years ago!  Love their sales so much.  I've found so many awesome deals there - an extra 50% off on the lowest price with an ADDITIONAL student discount?  Oh hell yes.
My top sans jacket and scarf...
...and a full body shot for you guys!  I know shiny over-the-knee boots can be kinda dominatrix-y (yeah, just made that word up, NBD) but I thought they looked good with today's "conservative" LOTD.  What do you guys think? Yay or nay?
AHHH!  My bag *grins* LOVE this design.  I still can't believe I actually own a Chanel.  Probably not the most "sensible" splurge, but hey, every woman should have a solid investment bag.

A closer look at my boots from Chinese Laundry.  I got them on sale at DSW years ago!

Skirt:  c/o Charlotte Russe ($9.99)

The Tuxedo Blazer

ERMERGERD BOWS!  I'm totes in love with my new pencil skirt from Pin Up Darling.  I can't get over how adorable it is!  I am biased though.  I'll pretty much love anything with bows, ha!  I even have a pinterest board called, "Bows, Bows, Bows" *grins* Anywho, I styled the fab piece with a sleeveless polka-dot tank from Design History.  To finish off the look, I threw on a tuxedo blazer from H&M for polish.
I couldn't resist wearing these gold statement earrings!  They're available on the Blackfive site for $10.  I'd cop them stat if I were you *grins*
