Modeling for Main Street Ballroom

I'm super excited to tell you guys all about my latest adventure with Main Street Ballroom!  If you follow me on instagram, you've probably already seen behind-the-scene snaps via instastories.  I've been WAY more active with it all lately so make sure you come say hello.
Anywho, I had a really great time modeling for MSB - the building was absolutely beautiful and the creatives were all so ridiculously talented.  It was truly an honor to be involved!  For those of you located in the DMV + looking to rent event/wedding space, you need to check out Main Street Ballroom stat.
Based in historic Ellicott City, MD, Main Street Ballroom is the result of years of dreaming.  Owner Kate Ansari was planning her own wedding and was looking for a venue that felt like home.  She never did find a place with the perfect mix of style and flexibility, but six years after her big day, she finally found the venue she would have chosen.  Now, she's making it a reality for brides across Maryland, DC, Pennsylvania and Virginia.  ALL couples are welcome at Main Street Ballroom, regardless of race, religion or gender.
MSB combines the charm and character of a historic building with modern amenities, including a salon-style bridal suite with built in hair and makeup statements, a state of the art catering kitchen and newly constructed bathrooms.  Your special event will be 200% stress free with their policies. YOU are the only even on your special day aka you'll have access to the Ballroom all day long, no overage charges for extra hours, no hidden fees.  To book MSB, call 301.742.0399 or email them at hello@mainstballroom.com to book a tour.
BTW, they have a list of amazing vendors who offer clients a discount!  Many preferred vendor lists are simply lists of companies who give kickbacks to spaces for recommending them.  MSB's cultivating the same list, but instead of keeping $$$ for themselves, they're passing 100% of that to their clients to get you the BEST deal possible.
Last but not least, a HUGE thanks to everyone involved in this shoot.  L.A. Birdie Photography, Mobtown Florals, Jewel Hair Design, Beauty by Jackie D, Elizabeth Cooper Design and Susie Saltzman.  Also, for those of you wondering, the other model is Andrea Youniss - such a gorgeous girl!

My Latest Designer Find: Obsessed with Alexis

Alright guys, by now, you all know that I was in Naples, FL for Christmas vacay - see my trip recaps here and here. While I was there, I got my shop on at Saks and bought a few things for myself - hashtag treat yoself!  I was beyond thrilled to find Alexis hanging in their sale racks.  I'm a huge fan of their designs so I was over the moon when I discovered this gorgeous dress!
Everything about this dress is a do.  It fits me like a glove and oozes quality! I seriously can't get over how fabulous the design is.  I mean, just look at the sleeves - aren't they ridiculously adorable?  Who else loves Alexis?

The Pleated Minidress: V-day Edition

It's time for another one of my v-day outfit posts.  If you missed my first ensemble with Trollbeads, click here. Anywho, for today's blast, I centered my look around a fab dress from Lifestyle Clothiers.  Isn't the color perfect for the occasion?  There's just something about deep burgundy.  It'll always be a do in my book.
On top of it all, the design's comfortable yet super flattering.  The piece highlights the small of my waist which creates a sexy hourglass figure + elongates my legs.  Yay for visual illusions! Sidebar: I actually wrote an article on 'em a while back on how to look 10lbs lighter with fashion so make sure you guys clicky.
Anywho, I paired my dress with a faux-leather moto jacket to add edge and carried a lace clutch to up my texture game.  To top things off, I accessorized with pearl pieces from Trollbeads' Falling in Love collection.

Teaming Up with Trollbeads for V-Day

I'm super pumped to partner up with Trollbeads for my latest post!  They asked me to style a fabulous Valentine's day look, and I, of course, happily obliged.  I don't know if you guys remember, but a while back, I featured this dress as a find-of-the-day.  Lucky for y'all, it's still available online, and it's even MORE affordable than before.
For those of you interested, it's currently on sale for $22.50, which is a total steal because it was originally $57. The textured mesh & cutout front ooze sexy, but the length balances everything out. You're showing a tasteful pop of skin up top, and everything else is modest so you're still keeping it classy.  The straps are adjustable, and the waistband stretches so you'll look amazing AND be comfortable all night.  I mean, does it really get much better than that?
Other affordable LBDs for your browsing pleasure (all under $50):
Let's take a closer look at my fabulous accessories.  LBDs are like blank canvases begging to be adorned so jewelry is an absolute must.  I wanted to look elegant so I went with simple but classic baubles to elevate my ensemble. I'm wearing Trollbeads' espresso noir bangle matching earrings and carrying a gorgeous clutch from Lily Rain.
A close up shot of my earrings.  These babies are currently on sale for $69 so run, don't walk.  Take advantage of their discounted prices now so you have a killer v-day gift ready to go in your arsenal. Baby, it's Cold Outside

...seriously though.  It really WAS cold outside when I shot this, ha.  I wanted to feature another holiday look though so I braved the cold and went out in my itty bitty LBD!  I may have gotten sick BUT s'all good because Sung and I ended up getting some great shots.
Anywho, onto my latest OOTN!  Today's dress is from Cooper & Ella.  It's called the Maren drape dress, and it's available in three other colors in addition to black:  cerulean, orchid, and forest.  Oh, and BTW, I'm totally wearing this dress backwards.  I like having the drape up front so I decided to just go with it.  Which side do you guys prefer?
I accessorized with a bold choker to step things up and carried a studded clutch for some edge.  To finish things off, I threw on statement heels!  I got these kicks a LONG time ago so I don't have a link for you guys, BUT here are other fabulous shoes that slay:

Spreading Some Serious Christmas Cheer

T-minus 4 days until Christmas!  Who else is excited?  Hopefully you guys are all done with your holiday shopping by now.  In honor of the upcoming holiday, Sung and I decided to shoot today's featured outfit in front of a magnificent x-mas tree.  How many of you guys have real trees set up in your homes? Are you big on decorating or are you a minimalist like me?
Anywho, I decided to bling myself out for today's OOTD.  I centered my look around a festive mini - sequins just scream Christmas to me - and paired it with a matching lace-up top.  I threw on a drape jacket to add a bit of warmth and wore black tights and boots to create the illusion of longer legs.
A closer look at details!  I totally splurged on my Chanel boy, but there are a bunch of other fabulous options available that cost a fraction of the price, like this Rebecca Minkoff design.  I've totally been drooling over these designs:  Denim Love and Velvet Love.  What do you guys think - hot or not?

Strawberry Fields Forever

I'm so beyond excited to partner up with Jared Wolfe again on SS for my latest.  I absolutely love working with him - he has an incredible eye, and his style's super distinct. I feel like I could spot his work anywhere!  If you're interested in working with him, hit him up here.  He just opened a new studio in DC so it should be fun times all around!
Anywho, for today's OOTN, I styled a fun going out look for you guys.  I (unfortunately) don't have a dress link for y'all, but I'll make sure to share other cute options for you guys below so scroll, scroll, scroll.

Other sexy dress options for you guys (all under $50):

My neckline's already hella fancy so I accessorized with bold statement earrings instead of a pretty necklace as per usual.  I got these earrings from Charlotte Russe back in the day, and they STILL look fab.  I expected them to change color and whatnot, but they're good as new.  They're no longer available online (since I bought them years ago), but here are other affordable styles for your browsing pleasure:

Editorial: The [Not So] Secret Garden

Pumped to share yet another dressy look with you guys!  I partnered up with the fabulous Jared Wolfe again for my latest because he's hella talented and all sorts of awesomesauce.  I styled a classic going-out ensemble for y'all for today's OOTD.
I got this elegant & (very) comfortable dress at Amiclubwear a while back.  I love simple LBDs because they're like blank canvases - can I get a woot woot for accessories - begging to be adorned.  I styled it with bold statement earrings from JWholesale and a beautiful choker from Trollbeads.  They released three gorgeous charms that go with it so feel free to go cray.

I went with the pearl charm for today's post, but I'll be showing y'all more very soon so stay tuned. BTW, their new winter collection is seriously goals - if you haven't checked it out yet, you need to STAT!  OH, and one more thing, I wrote a post on finding the perfect LBD a while back.  If you missed it, you can access it here.

Editorial: Bullet with Butterfly Wings

Yay! It's time for another fabulous editorial on SS.  Today's look is hella fancy because, well, I felt like getting dolled up for you guys.  I decided to play around with metallics for my latest since I'm a fan of all things shiny, ha. I centered my OOTN around an old dress that I got from Diva NY a few years back.  I seriously need to hit them up again because their clothing was super cute!  Oh how I envy you NY-ers.  I'll have to make a trip up soon!
Anywho, I paired my dress with a BAMF moto jacket (featured here not too long ago) and accessorized with killer heels and a fierce choker.  I can't get enough of chokers as of late, and my go-to jewelry store, JWholesale, has the most a-ma-zing selection.  I recently got a big shipment in the mail, and I seriously love everything.  If you're looking for solid jewelry on the cheap, you need to check them out STAT!  Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
A closer look at my necklace!  How do you guys feel about the whole choker trend - is it a do or a don't?  And on that note, what kind of jewelry do you prefer: dainty or bold?
